This is an extract celebrating the kid-like memories of the rootbeer float. Spicy, rich, everlasting and velvety, a beautiful way to share the ripe prune-plum all year round. 

This extract is loaded with natural anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and digestive aids, and developed in part using the properties of Ayurvedic study. 

Beverage recommendations: We call this extract the wild-card. The unique combination of herbs and spices work with heavy and robust cocktails and sodas, as well as light and fragrant. Certainly the sneak attack extract! 

Cooking recommendations: Chocolate is a perfect match but this extract pushes dynamic flavour into ice creams, house made yoghurts, petit fours and candies. Beef juices deglazed become a sensual culinary experience adding depth and spice to the finished sauce.

Hillbilly Hiccups 

1.50 oz Bourbon 
0.75 oz Honey Syrup 
0.75 oz Lemon Juice 
1.00 oz Peach Juice 
2.00 oz Rooibos Tea, brewed and cooled 
2 dashes Bittered Sling Plum & Rootbeer Bitters 

Stir all ingredients gently with ice for 10-15 seconds. Strain into an old fashioned glass with a large ice cube, and garnish with an lemon cheek. 

Cowtown Fashioned 

2.00 oz Rye Whisky 
0.50 oz Mace & Nutmeg Syrup 
2 dashes Bittered Sling Plum & Rootbeer Bitters 

Stir all ingredients gently with ice for 10-15 seconds. Strain into an old fashioned glass with a large ice cube, and garnish with an lemon cheek. 

4:1 

1.00 oz Gin 
1.00 oz Fernet Branca 
0.50 oz Lime Juice 
0.50 oz Ginger Syrup 
2 dashes Bittered Sling Denman Bitters 
2 dashes Bittered Sling Plum & Rootbeer Bitters 

Shake ingredients vigorously with ice for 7-10 seconds. Strain over fresh ice in a collins glass. Slapped mint sprig garnish.

Minnow Grog 

2.00 oz Anejo Rum 
0.75 oz Lime Juice 
0.75 oz Honey & Allspice Syrup 
2 dashes Bittered Sling Plum & Rootbeer Bitters 

Shake all ingredients with ice for 7-10 seconds, double strain over fresh ice in a tall sling glass, top with ice-cold Sparkling Wine. Garnish with a large edible flower! 

Mayflower Martinez 

2.00 oz Gin 
0.25 oz Maraschino Liqueur 
0.50 oz Sweet Vermouth 
2 dashes Bittered Sling Plum & Rootbeer Bitters 

Stir all ingredients gently with ice for 10-15 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass or V-shaped cocktail glass, and garnish with a lemon peel.
