Royal Rose Egg Nog
Sweetened with our Cardamom Clove Syrup, this egg nog gets its delicious combination of Tequila and Sherry from Andrew Volk of the Portland Hunt & Alpine Club.
2 extra egg yolks
1 tablespoon sugar
.5 cup Royal Rose Cardamom Clove Syrup
4 cups whole milk
.75 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
.5 cup Anejo Tequila
.75 cup Amontillado Sherry
Whisk the eggs and sugar until frothy. Add the syrup, milk, cream, nutmeg, bourbon, and sherry and whisk vigorously until well-combined (1 minute or more if whisking by hand). Chill the egg nog in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
