
El Guapo Bitters - Gumbo
Created using all the typical flavors of a Pot of Louisiana Gumbo!
Pairs well with both white and aged spirits. Try it in soups and stews for an extra hit of flavor
Primary flavors include; Creole Tomato, Celery, Green Onion, Bell Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Mirliton, Celery, Thyme, with additional herbs & spices.

2oz Bulleit Bourbon
1-2 barspoons Blueberry syrup - see recipe below
Several dashes El Guapo's Gumbo Bitters
Add all ingredients to an old fashioned glass and give a quick stir. Drop in a large chunk of ice. Garnish with a large thin strip of lemon peel.
Blueberry syrup:
1 pint blueberries
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
Combine blueberries and water in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, allow to cook for several minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in the sugar until well dissolved. Puree with an immersion blender. Strain and cool.
Creole Gumbo Martini
2oz Broker's Gin or Vodka
1oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
A few dashes El Guapo's Gumbo Bitters
Chill a cocktail glass. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir until well chilled. Strain into the chilled glass. Garnish with a pickled onion or cherry tomato and a sprig of thyme.
