Arizona Bitters Lab - Figgy Pudding Bitters
An aromatic bitters that is heady with cinnamon, clove, and cardamom with a natural sweetness from figs and currants. Wonderful for anything that is brown, bittered, and stirred. A few drops are also pretty amazing on top of a bowl of vanilla ice cream or in your morning coffee.
2.5 oz of your favorite Rye or Bourbon
1 oz of good Sweet Vermouth
1 dash of AZBL Figgy Pudding bitters
1 barspoon of Luxardo Maraschino Cherry syrup
1 Luxardo Maraschino Cherry
Add whiskey, vermouth, maraschino, and bitters to mixing glass. Add ice, stir for 20-30 seconds, strain into chilled rocks glass (no ice). Rub orange zest around the rim and drop in glass.
Old Fashioned Whipped Cream
This recipe made its way on top of our pecan pie for Thanksgiving. It’s also pretty awesome as a topping for hot chocolate or coffee
1.5 cups whipping cream
.25 cup confectionery sugar
1oz Brandy Cordial
8-10 dashes of AZBL Figgy Pudding bitters
Place whipped cream and sugar in a metal bowl. Start whipping and increase speed to full. As whipped cream starts to form, pour in Brandy Cordial and bitters. Adjust sugar to taste and whip to desired consistency.
