San Francisco Bitters Collection - Martinique Bitters
A concentrated, unsweetened cocktail flavoring patterned after La Créole, a liqueur that was produced in the late 1700s to the early 1800s at Fort-Royal, Martinique. This and other products of the distillery of Madeleine Achard-Amphoux became known in France as "Liqueurs of the Islands produced by the Widow Amphoux". Our Martinique Bitters was adapted from a recipe for La Créole which appeared in a French distiller's formulary published in 1843. A subtle yet unique flavor ingredient for the creative mixologist.
