San Francisco Bitters Collection - Flower Drum Bitters
A cocktail flavoring whose creation was inspired by memories of dining in San Francisco's Chinatown during the late 1940s and early 1950s, at such fondly remembered restaurants as the Jade Palace, Shanghai Low, The Lamps of China, Lotus Bowl, Tao Lee Yon, Kay Kay Garden and Universal Cafe.
Flower Drum Bitters will add a subtle, exotic note to classic "oriental" cocktails such as the Canton, the Shanghai and the Chinatown.
1-1/2 oz Jamaica rum, 1/4 oz anisette, 1/4 oz grenadine, 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice, 2 dashes Flower Drum Bitters.
1-1/2 oz Jamaica rum, 1/4 oz maraschino liqueur, 1/4 oz orange curacao, dash grenadine, 2 dashes Flower Drum Bitters; garn cherry & orange peel.
1 oz gin, 3/4 oz dry vermouth, 3/4 sweet vermouth, 1/4 oz brandy, 2 dashes Flower Drum Bitters.
