Rum and thirteen botanicals including dried cranberries, roots, cacao nibs, festive spices, citrus peels and ruby port.
Unique bitters originally created as a Christmas gift for Dr. Adam Elmegirab in 2009 and due to demand released as a festive bottling in November 2001.
Color/Nose – Dark ruby-red. Freshly baked gingerbread, clove and spiced fruit.
Palate – An initial soft sweetness swiftly moves into a complex middle with clove studded orange and a host of festive spice all dancing on your tongue.
Finish – Long bitter finish welcomes the return of hot gingerbread, spiced cookies and clove.
50ml Aged Rum
12.5ml Falernum Syrup
4 Dashes Dr. Heather Duncan's (Dr Adams) Christmas Bitters
Barspoon freshly squeezed lime juice
Add all ingredients to glass, fill with crushed ice and swizzle. Top with crushed ice and swizzle again if necessary.
